Look, I love any game under the monster-hunting genre, and as someone who has played pretty much everything out there, I can say this game is solid and easily 8+/10. 3) is has been far more creative and original than anything MH, and while it doesn't have maybe the depth that MH has, there is plenty to keep users busy and formulate thousands of builds and setups. 2) It is superior to any of the Monster Hunter titles thus far. Yes indeed, in God Eater 2 you can make an online lobby with a few friends and go about slaying. More than anything else, God Eater 2: Rage Burst makes sure you know it was built for online play. While Monster Hunter (and gunlances) have a special place in my heart, God Eater felt a lot less like a chore at times. But yes, if youre into hunting games, God Eater is pretty drat fun. GE2 is 1-10, and Rage Burst is 11-15 yet playing through RB felt like it just dragged on in a way that none of the other stuff felt.
